Hoenn Starters!

Hello everybody!! this time im going to talk about the Hoenn region starter pokémon. This region is my least favourite because when i was younger i was never able to get as far as the fourth gym but i got my hand on pokemon ruby recently and i managed to get passed that gym and even go as far as to beat the pokemon league :) Anyway heres my opinion on the starter pokemon.

Treecko
what can i say about him, well firstly he is the grass type of the region. The problem with him is his Sp.Atk is much higher and he learns more Physical moves such as leaf blade, night slash, X-scissor and even learns screech! This guy would be a deadly pokemon if he had a higher Attack but his Sp.Atk is higher for some reason? His other stats are very good i.e he is very fast and has very high Sp.def and a decent defence. If you were to raise one you could egg him with leaf storm, teach him Frenzy plant, or teach him solarbeam, Giga drain or even dragon pulse. But it is allot of trouble to go through to raise one. He is good in the GBA versions because grass and dark are Special.

Torchic 
I love this little guy, Torchic is the fire type pokemon in Hoenn. What i like about him is he is Physical and when he evolves he becomes fighting type aswell as staying fire. He has good defences and good speed and strangely enough he has a very high Sp.atk but a slightly higher so you could raise a Special one but the move set would be the problem, Heat wave, swift and Vacuume wave. But he has a much better Physical move set such as Bulk up, blaze kick, flare blitz, Sky uppercut, brave bird and you can even egg him with Rock slide. so all in all he is a good pokemon both in the GBA version and newer games like Dpthhgss.

Mudkip
Mudkip is the water type in hoenn. As he evolves he becomes water/ground type. Water ground is a weird and unusual mix of types but it has an advantage, it has no weakness except for grass type. He has very good stats, he's slow but has very good defences and as high attack so i would go physical with him. He learns some good physical moves such as earthquake, hammer arm, aqua tail or waterfall, double edge and Outrage. so to some up he is another decent Physical water type pokemon and a good choice for a water pokemon.

So in the Hoenn region my favourite starter is Blaziken and a close second is Swampert. Check out my next blog to see my opinion on the Sinnoh region

Johto starters

Hello!! this blog is a sequel to my last blog and i'm going to talk about the Johto region starter pokémon. firstly i just want to say what i like about this regions starter pokemon is all of the pokemon are only the basic  types, i.e none are dual types.

Chikorita 

Chikorita is the grass type in this region, she is a good pokemon but i personaly dont like her, she is slow and doesn't have very good attack or Sp.atk but does have very good defences so she is a very good wall pokemon. a decent move set would be toxic to increasingly faint your enemy, sunny day, synthesis and solarbeam. when sunny day is out synthesis will heal yoou by more than half your health and solarbeam doesn't need to charge for a turn. My brother (Kieran) raised one and EV trained its defences and they were unbelievably high so if u have the patience to EV train one and battle with it there a very good pokemon to raise.

Cyndaquil

Cyndaquil is the fire type in the johto region. i like him, i raised one and loved him. He is better special, His defenced are good not great, but he is very fast and has the potential to have very very good Sp.atk if u have a good nature. he learns swift which is one of the few moves that cannot miss and he learns strong fire moves such as Flamethrower, lava plume and even Eruption! so if your looking for a good fir sweeper Typhlosion is the one to go with.

Totodile

last but not least is the water type Totodile! i personaly love him. He is definatly a physical water pokemon which is a bit unusual but not uncommon. he is reasonably slow, and his defences are alright, but his attack makes up for it. He is very strong and his move set is very good, he learns screech which sharply lowers your enemys defence, slash, thrash, aqua tail, crunch and so on. I would rather teach him waterfall because i prefer it over aqua tail but thats up to you. he learns superpower but i would rather not teach him superpower because it lowers your attack and defence but again thats up to you.

The Kanto starters!!

Hey i hope everybody enjoyed my last post about pokemon conspiricys. this time i am giving my opinion on the starter pokemon throughout each region :) Anybody who knows anything to do with pokemon will know that in each region there are three starter pokemon to choose from. the three starters are the same three types in every region, grass, fire and of course water. so lets start off with Kanto region

Bulbasaur

Bulbasaur is the grass type in this region he is also poison type. I like Bulbasaur, he is slow but he has high Sp. Atk and reasonably good defences. he also has a good move set, Synthesis, solarbeam, leech seed Etc. a good final move set for him would be sunny day, Synthesis, solarbeam and either sludge bomb or toxic. sunny day is handy to have out so if u decide to use Synthesis it will re-heal u by more than half of his origional health and solarbeam doesn't need to charge for a turn, then toxic to slowely take down your enemy but i would rather teach him sludge bomb because it another move to deal damage and its pwerful, and dont forget the STAB bonus.

Charmander

Charmander is my favourite from this region,he is the fire type and when he evolves into charazard he also becomes flying type. He has a higher sp.atk than his attack but if u really wanted you could raise one physical and have such moves as fly, flare blitz, dragon claw etc. but i think he is more special for such moves as Flamthrower, air slash, dragon pulse so on, but other than his Sp.atk he has resonably high defences and he is pretty fast. the reason for the flying moves is for  STAB bonus plus fly is handy outside of battle to go from town to town.

Squirtle 

Finaly squirtle, he is the water type in Kanto and remanes a water type as he evolves he doesnt gain a second type like when charmeleon evolves into charazard. he is slow but has very good defences. he can be raised as a physical or Special pokemon, as Physical he learns aqua tail or teach him waterfall. Both moves are physical but i prefere waterfall because it is slightly more accurate and has more pp although it is slightly less powerful. He also learns Skull bash. if u raised him special you could teach him surf and ice beam (for grass types) so all in all he's a good pokemon but my least favourite of these three.

pokemon conspiricys

ok this is my first blog and i taught i would start with some pokemon conspiricys. there are allot of them out there so lets get started!
Ash's father
so ash's father, anybody that knows anything about the anime knows ash's father abandoned him and his mother to become a pokemon master when ash was young. personaly i am happy not knowing who his father is but just to shed some light on the subject i looked into it. there are allot of people making random assumptions of who he is, one is the character "Giovanni". he is trying to become a pokemon master but by steeling the strongest pokemon i.e getting jessie james and meowth to capture ash's pikachu. but i think this is the only thing that connects them so in my opinion ruling him out as his father. next is "Pfr. Oak" an obvious choice because everybody says he's riding ash's mother in secret while ash is out becoming the best, however i think oak is not his father because his father left ash and his mother to become the best, not move next door to teach pokemon and start trainers off on there adventures. finaly is silver from the anime. he knew allot about ash even though he never met him before. the only proven connection is that like ash silver saw a legendary pokemon (moltres) as a child, again still no decent proof... so the search for ash'd father goes on.

Arcanine is a legendary pokemon
this is not a conspiricy it is a fact, arcanine was originally a legenday along with Zapdos and Articuno. but the anime writters changed it to prevent confusion and made arcanine a regular pokemon, and in his place made Moltres
  recognize this?!? it is in one of the earlier episodes of the first season. ash sees this in a pokemon center and recognizes moltres as ho-oh he mentions it to Prf. oak

Baby kangaskhan is a cubone
another well known conspiricy that when a kangaskhan  died its baby still lived near its mothers dead body, when it decomposed the baby put on the mothers skull and became a cubone
 but il let u be the judge.

Gengar is clefables evil half
it is said that clefables evil half is actually a Gengar. they have the same physical features and stances. its also said that Clefable comes ot to dance in the moon light and gengar play pranks at night

Ditto is a failed mew Experiment
ditto and mew are both pink, can learn every move (to a certain extent) and ditto can be found on Cinnabar island which is where mew experiments were conducted. this is a very realistic conspiricy beacause the facts are very realistic.


ghastly is a dead cloyster
i herd that when a cloyster dies it turns into a ghastly. this may not be so fake because a cloysters face is a black circle and ghastlys face is the very same. another thing i herd was a ghastly is a dead koffing. there both made of gas, same creepy smile and both poison. but thats up to u to decide.

Ash's coma
the biggest conspiricy is that in the first episode when ash fell off his bike fleeing from the wild spearrow he hit his head and went into a deep coma, and that everything after that point is a dream. the reason this could be real is ash never aged a day over 10 during the 5 seasons, and all the characters have some way to connect to ash i.e brock represents his sexuality, misty the beautiful girl he will never get. however this was confirmed by the writers as a myth and untrue.

Red is a ghost
finaly the character "red" u battle on top of mt. silver is a ghost. it was said that he died as the champion but was unsatisfied  because he could never find a true opponent strong enough to battle him so he waits for that opponent on top of mt.silver. that is why red doesnt talk to u before he battles you.
